Hi there, we've got a subsection for 20 and under contests. Don't worry it'll be moved there soon I'm sure.

Here are a couple of entries from me. The second one is different in that it has a slight gradient.

I also like the gradient one more

No, I'm just stupid. I was under the impression that he did the grey surmounted.net logo, which is wrong, cause it ain't 250x250px. Just ignore me.

Also, some sort of generic looking server picture or something to 'liven it up' a bit wouldn't hurt. I don't want to ask for too much though =]

Hey there here is a version with 2 states and one with 3. I really don't know if a picture would help, as there is a good bit of text it may distract people. If you'd like that alteration though I'll see what I can do.

Hey there Curtis, just letting you know I've got 4 total animated GIFs. The 2 before as well as 2 more that use a solid color. As you may have noticed, animated GIFs with gradients are subject to banding, where the gradient is much less subtle. That's another reason you most likely wouldn't want a server image included, as the maximum amount of colors for an animated GIF is 256.

If you are adamant on the decision for the server image though, I will of course see what I can do.
