Hello dear members of Webmaster-talk,
I am requesting a logo for my site, it's called AllianceForums, and it's about everything that's releated to Computing and IT, and Real Life, of course, we're not geeks really, but it's based on IT. I can only pay 10$ for the logo right now, because since I have closed the website for the update I'm not getting any economical support. How you see, the Website is about unitism, centralization and Alliance, so something you could use in the logo is a symbol of raised fists, handshake, etc.
Here are some slogans we used (We're currently trying to invent a new one) to inspire you:

United We Stand
Together, We Accomplish
Internauts of the world, unite.

I want the logo to have a symbol inside it, and I want the logo to be provocative, to inspire members and to make them fight for the community and to think it's a really good one.

Just a little bit of history of the site to give you more ideas:

...After long time having the site inactive, without money and without time, running and update that was never done I decided to close it in May. Now, in June I decided to make a reform, a project that was called "New Alliance" that would add new features, rearrange and make the site better, and also put it up again. The project is almost done, now I only need the logo and a few things more....

I'd like the logo to be in AI or any other vector format, and PSD, if possible.

The size of the current logo is 389px × 80px, but if you want to make it a little bit bigger it's not a problem.

The colors mostly used are green, limegreen, yellowgreen, gray and black.

10$ isnt much to most people on here who do GFX design , and to have a design with more than its fair share of requirements just makes it that less appealing.

You also need to remember that most designers on here are actually professional designers, So time may also be a factor here. ( Ie: They have it being used up somewhere else. )

Might I suggest making the colors a little more contrasting? It's a little soft and it makes it difficult to read and make out the shield/wings/text.

Yeah, I agree, the logo needs some working. Not meant to offend.

For $10, this is all I've got. Text can be added/removed and colors can be changed via request. If chosen winner, I will PM/e-mail you the un-watermarked version and the .ai files.

I like your logos, specially the bottom one,
however even thought 10$ aren't much to you, I expect a little more for that cash. And I mean that I wanted a symbol to suit both New Alliance and AllianceForums logo, and not 2 letters together. Even thought the gratidents you use are great.

You expect more for $10? I'm sorry but you have got to be kidding me. That is a phenomenal logo for $10, and if this was a contest for $100 I'm sure it would have a good shot at winning it, and he could easily charge a client $150+ for something like that.

$10 isn't going to buy you the world buddy.

And I agree with Jared, $10 isn't much for a logo of your scale, but I'd gladly take it any day (I'm poor )

And I know it doesn't go very well with the above colour scheme, but I think it could be easily adapted if you really want to use this design I could change anything you want to a different colour easily!

Wow, 100$ for a forum logo. I'm sorry but I'm not a rich ***** like you here. And if that logo is phenomenal, since I can create a better one I must be a master in art. Oh no, wait, this is just a rip off, since you think I'm noob. Well, good luck in finding some other fool, because I am not going to fall for this ****.

P.S. Physicsguy: That logo is the one I'm looking for, but I need a few changes to it but since I guess 10$ is too low I'm not going to say anything.

Maybe you missed that section, it's filled with them. That is also considered cheap by most professional designers, but what do I know.

If it's not too much for you:

I would like the red to be changed to green, and aswell make the canvas more higher so the glow of the fist won't get cut, and the banner under the first, I would like it to be some more professional and not cartoon style. Maybe some shapes avabile on internet?
