The company that needs a logo make over. See original here:

https://img1.wsimg.com/plimg/253584/...0716132559.jpg

The name is " T e k n o R h i n o "

The contest lasts for 5 days and will only be awarded if the entries have significantly improved the original logo. Winner could lead to future graphic work. Please give your best shot. Thank you.

ok so "Provided the copyright is held by them [the contest holder] rather than remaining with the original designer, there is no problem. Even if the original designer holds copyright or IP rights the new designs are sufficiently different to be a separate entity."

anyway here's my revised version - i think the second one would work best as it's the simplest and the strongest, just like a rhino

"Hi Davemies, why did you replace the silver with the black color? thanks for your entry once again, Frank"
you mean on the rhino? well the bottom version has silver in it (well grey) but as i explained i think it's a lot clearer and stronger with just black.

so do we have something you like or am i wasting my time?

Hi Dave, sorry for being irresponsive. I got involved in acquiring a new web concept ... had to step away. I thought about your designs and have some feed back. You can either email me the designs again or post them here all in one page. The project that I am working on gives talented graphic artists like you a chance to sell your skill to the global audience. I initially got involved because I wanted to find a good website structure for TrustedHire.com , We ended up acquiring a website call gigDollars.com (with "s" at the end). It has good traffic, good brand recognition. Can I ask you for your opinion on take a quick look at the website gigdollars.com and see if rebranding it to trustedhire.com makes sense? I am planning on declaring one of the logos that you designed as a winner so I can send you at least some $ for your effort. Thanks for your participation. I really appreciate it. Frank

images are in this folder
http://gekkoweb.com/comps/teknorhino/

or you can download the zip with all 5 files http://gekkoweb.com/comps/teknorhino/TeknoRhino.zip

i think gigdollars work well for prospective contributors but trusted hire sounds better to people looking to hire people/pay for work.
if it all has good brand recognition (and associated traffic) then it sounds like it would be best to use gigdollars.com name
