In image ready, when I save my slices as html and gifs, the images I get are not optimized even though they are suposed to be...
after, if I open an individual image with photoshops built in optimizer it shows that each image has a fair way to go to reach its optimum file size.

Whats happening here?
At the moment my only option is to pain stakingly go through each image individualy with phshop ctrl, alt, shift, s...which i shouldnt have to do..

check your save settings under Image Ready (options). There you can set how you want to save your images and HTML files/slices.
