how could it be improved?

Looks good..

It could be inproved by making it longer..So they is no gap between the Top and Bottom of the page

nice. Slice the top part more. it will load faster when you placed more content later for the site you'll use it on

The colors are clean. plus blending at the footer part ..original

i am currently trying on the html forum to get it to go down to the bottom of the page. That will be fixed soon

Nice work!

Try (like mentioned before) getting it to the bottom of the page.. or give it a nice bottom. You could round the edges and add a drop shadow.
Also try adding a drop shadow and/or outline to the name at the top to make it stand out.

You might want to make the header background stand out a little more...it would draw attention to the name...then use a brigter color for the name

Thankx I've made an updated version of the site now, which reacts to most of the comments posted, thx for all of your advice. I'll put the new version up soon when I have time in place of what is already there.
