Yikes! sorry I posted my other question twice but I dont see any way to edit it or remove it. I wanted to change the email notification function and didnt realize it posted twice.

But anyway I want to know how to do a function that I use all the time in Paint Shop Pro.... in Photoshop instead.

You get an image, such as a transparent image... out of a template or whatever and you want to paste that separate image as a new image... and it fits to the screen. How do I do that? I do it all the time in Paint Shop Pro and just go Edit/Copy... Edit/Paste as new image and it removes it and there's a new image of it on the screen and it automatically fits the image into a window... thats the same size... But I dont even see a "paste as new image" function in Photoshop.

Thanks

if you "copy" an image from somewhere, then file>open>new in Photoshop, that new window is usually the size of the copied image.

This is true, but photoshop has to be already open, then you can copy a picture and go FILE>NEW>OK not file>open>new. A window opens up with the correct size of the image then you just have to paste and you are done!
