Helo I want to cut an image out of the surrounding picture leaving the image then save it just as the image. How do I do this please?
For instance I tak a picture of a watch on a table so you see the watch in the middle of the table and the table surronding the watch.
So I only want the watch picture and not the surronding table so how do I cut out the watch leaving the watch only to save?

This can be easily done in photoshop 6.

Using the Polygonal Lasso tool, with a feathering of around 4-5px, cut around the image of the watch using the point to point method.

Once all cut, copy and paste the selected image of the watch and place it into a new image with a transparent background.
