Hello,

I have made a logo for my Site. I created it through Adobe Photoshop CS3. I wonder how can I convert pdf file to jpg or gif? My logo's background is transparent. I tried other image converters but background is set to white. Is it possible to get a converter that remains the transparent background?

Regards,
Robert

.pdf? Do you mean .psd?

If so...

Open the file in Photoshop. Once its open go to File > Save as. Change the format to CompuServe GIF. A window pops up.

Make sure "transparency" is checked.

JPEG does not support transparency.

(I think it's PSD) The other alternative is File >> save as >> and choose .PNG . It's also transparent image.

Indeed. But some browsers don't support transparent .PNGs such as IE unless you use a JavaScript-based PNG fix on the web page displaying the images.

This is probably your best option.

Export as PNG . Import to flash. Export swf file. Set attribute WMode= transparent. Use in your design.
This is alternate to losing quality with GIF, or working with javascript fixes.

I think that exporting as a .gif file with the mask color the color of your site background is probably the best way to go. I've done this on multiple occasions in the past and it has always worked out well.

CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+S to Save for web...
