Hi friends,

i use photoshop CS2 and iam new to it. some of the options in photoshop get disabled and i dont know how to use them now.

EX: clouds,lens flare in render.... wind in stylize etc...

can any one help me enable those options again i need them.

please help me with this problem......

Hmm... if the entire Filter menu is greyed out, it could be because you're using an incompatible image format, like bitmap. Try changing it to RGB (for web) or CMYK (for print).

e.g. from the menu bar select Image > Mode > RGB

Exactly, or it could be that your bit depth is wrong, but more than likely it's the image format.

You also need to be sure you're on the right layer or that the layer isn't locked - beginners always forget to activate the right layer.
