I am having Photoshop 6.0 and I am a beginner. I want to know how to make a transparent background I have made a logo with white backgrnd.
Pls Help I am attaching the file as well. If any one can do the work for me I will be grateful. I want the background to be transparent and my logo to be white. z 2.jpg

First, I believe you want this forum http://www.webmaster-talk.com/adobe-photoshop/

Do you have the image saved in layers? If so just delete the white background and save it as a .png or .gif

If not then you will have to actually cut the image out so to speak, and there are many ways to do that. If you provide a little more info I will try to help. What is the format you are working with?

For Photoshop 6 you have to EXPORT as a GIF, the plugin should be part of Photoshop.

I think you should remove either the background color or u should remove the white color of your image using any selection and erase tools from phtoshop.
