The biggest problem is the content cannot really go anywhere!

HTML\CSS cannot turn text/elements through 30 or so degrees, so any usable template needs a section that runs vertically and won't look out of place.

For 2 days at it I'd say it's not too bad! From my standpoint I would have two criticisms: 1) all those angles make me feel a bit sea-sick. I don't mind things being angled, but I think you need a bit more consistency, not everything at a different angle. Secondly, white text is hard to read, especially on a not very dark background. I don't have huge vision problems, but I cannot focus on white text very easily and I very rarely spend time on websites that make me read it. If the website is exceptionally interesting, I turn off the styles and read the plain ol' html. If the site was image based and with white text I wouldn't be able to do that, so I would be one lost customer.

Another point re using an image design for your text is that the search engines won't be able to read it, making the pages very difficult for people to find.

I'm sure you'll figure out a better design without too much trouble- good luck!

My first glance I could tell you are graphic designer before web designer. As chris mentioned, it would be a ***** to code, and also the positioning of things is a bit too haywire. Nice graphic work, but work more on the actual positioning and it will work out better.

Start working on logos not layouts. I can tell that's where you need to be.

There are a number of usability problems. You have a knack for color, texture, etc., but you have to remember your designing for the web, not for a poster.

Read up on website usability and design around it for your design, or any design you make in the future to sell.
