Any ideas on the easiest way to import everything from one PSD into another - preserving all blending properties and other properties?

I'm new to the forum, thanks in advance for any replies! (I felt the need to use this emotocon now, i mine as well get it out of the way!)

open them both, and drag and drop in the "layers" palette

If are the same size holding the shift key while dragging will drop it in the same location as the original (if that's important).
