I got my hands on Adobe Illustrator CS5, but I'm really new to photoshop. My site is called numeroten.com. Do you have any ideas on how i should go about it on making a logo. Yes, I have sen some tutorials, but I feel like some good ideas on logo design will help. Thank you

I don't understand, what is the connection between the two? (two different apps).

I think what you have on your site now qualifies as a logo and it's not bad at all!
My only suggestion would be to reduce your header (logo) to no wider than 960 pixels.

First start with an orb tutorial, move on to a 3d triangular shape and then to others, soon when you master those , you can start with real objects .

Remember, google is your friend.

I really wouldn't recommend Photoshop to create a logo. Illustrator is a lot better.

I bought tutorial DVDs on ebay and they tought me quite a bit. I had to watch them several times but, they included practice files. I would highly recommend you start there if you have no experience with AI or PS.

I agree, Illustrator has a lot more flexability when it comes to making logos. Working with vectors makes it a lot easier to change things in the future, or on the fly.
