Adobe Photoshop

Hi, I have been incountering this problem lately, I have been sent psd and when trying to open then I get "Invalid Text Layer" errors, is there any way to sort this problem out? Some of them have been sent with fonts, I have tried installing them but no luck, i have no idea what is up with that....

photoshop cs.....not sure if thats good enough

Hmm there should be no reason why thats happening especialy if your been sent the fonts and im guessing your installing the fonts directly into the font folder before opening the psd files ?

yip....still same old problem, although some fonts cannot be installed.....im totally baffeled by this

hi, just incase some one else has this problem i have found a simple yet usefull solution. Open the file up in image ready, and it should open up and tell you that there is an error with text layer, just delete these layers and then click edit in photoshop. if you need the text layers but are not going to need to edit them then just rasterize them and it should work
