New to this but here goes.. Added 2nd monitor (LaCie 22") to existing setup. Upgraded video card (Winfast A350xt) Scratch disk d: ample free space plus have 2gb Ram. Using XP sp2. Now unable to scan high resolution 35mm film on FS4000us scanner. Ok before upgrade. Have increased available mem (control panel/system/advanced/advanced from 2046 to 3082. max avail 3092gb. ) Mem appears to not be available to scanner.! Any help most appreciated. Low resolution 24bit @1000x1000dpi single scan will work.) Sandpiper.
