Can anyone help? When I open rulers I set it to inches, but the inches are not a inch. On a 7x5 photo the ruler shows 7 inches, but when measured on the screen it is only 6in. How can I set the rulers to the same size as on the screen?

But its different on screen is it not... Why do you need it to be the same? If you print it off you find its the right size...

Yes true, but it just bugs me that the ruler scale is not real size. i only discovered it the other day when I was holding a object against the screen trying to figure out where to place it in the image, when I realized the picture was not the correct size. I had always assumed that if I selected "view print size" then that is what I got on the screen.

I have done this and now the first inch is ok, but they start to go smaller after that. By the time I get to six inches they are 3?16 short. Any ideas why?
