Why is it there is no triangle tool in Photoshop? How do you draw a perfect triangle( isosceles, equilateral, 30-60-90, etc)?

For an equilateral triangle use the polygon tool with sides set to 3 and 'Star' switched off.

Best way I found is to turn the grid snapping on (View -> Show -> Grid and View -> Snap To.. -> Grid)

Then using the pen tool, click the grid points to draw out an accurate triangle on the grid.
