#3 or #4 b/c you're not covering the X with anything.

Three, clean easy to read.
Second choice would be 4.

All the other are just too busy and hard to read.

I think number 4 is best. After that number 3 but i like the square bracket type thing..

no 1 its simple and common type of look 6/10
no 2 as x is coming out of those bracket like things not to good 5/10
no 3 looks good cool and is appealing to the eyes 9/10
no 4 it looks incomplete to me something looks missing 7/10
no 5 same as number 2

I'd have to go with #3 as my 1st choice.
#5 might work.. but have you considered putting the long leg of the X OVER the gray left bracket ? Just a thought...

I really like number 4. Number 3 and 5 are nice as well.
