Adobe Photoshop

I created an animation with 3 frames using the frame palette in photoshop 9. I want to create one of thoughs little gif animations. The help file says go to 'save for web..' and save as an animation gif. But i can't see any such option.

could someone please tell me how to do it.

In PSCS (ver 9), in order to make one of THOSE animated Gif's you can't really make it in Photoshop, but you CAN make it in ImageReady.

To save as a plain GIF - File, Save for Web - a new window will come up where you define the transparency, etc. You will then have a static GIF only. You'll have to take it into ImageReady in order to get the actual animation to work.

I already knew and had done what you said but was looking for an option to save file as a Animated gif. I've now learnt that there is no such option. All I do is save it as a gif put it on a webpage and it works.

Also. you don't need image ready. There is an animation palette in photoshop these days. I just created an animation in there. Go to 'save to web' and then save as a gif.

Not to beat this horse or anything, but can I get a little more help with this? I'm using ImageReady CS... I made the animation - works fine within ImageReady, but I'm not sure how I save it for inclusion on a web site. I know I can save it as HTML and Images, but then its saved in HTML, and I don't know how to link that so it shows as an image, rather than creating a link... anyone? TIA!

ETA: Nevermind - I got it figured out. Guess it just needed to perk overnight!
