hey guys im a new here so a warm welcome to all of you...i joined this forum bcoz i have high hope tat atleast 60%of my quiries will be answered well.......

1st off i would like to know is what all can you create for a web page layout in PS-CS2

and is it possible tat i can create the whole layout (including rollovers) usin photoshop n imgready

Virtually everything !!! I create all my layouts, buttons and everything, in PS. Forget using PS/ImageReady do your HTML and rollovers, PS is NOT an HTML editor and it outputs trash code.

oh, he knows photoshop isnt going to do the codes, he wants know to know what kind of graphics he can make to make up the layouts, as in for roll overs, he mean can he make those graphics so when you roll over(example:nav bar glow). but yes you can make all the layouts in ps, navbars, banners,background,boxes etc.

I know exactly what he meant, and ImageReady will output the code for rollovers, but it will be bad code.

lol ok this jus got a little humourous......welll ok tat answered now whn iam creating a layout do i create everything as a sperate file...for eg.the footer,the headeer,etc,etc,etc......or can i can i make it one as 1 file (which i already did with the text n rollovers,banners,etc) and i also added a frame in the middle to equip HTML files.....is tat agreeable.....

its up to your choice, you can make it one whole image, then use the slicing tool, and when you save it for web, have it go under a folder all seperate by the slices you made, from there, you just code it
