My curved border came out looking like this



How do I make the line anti-alias, so that the pixelation are not visible. So that it blends in.

I used an Selection, and did Edit Stroke. Is there another way to make this border?

You can't as such. Anti-aliasing applies to text.

Save your picture as a JPG or even a 24-bit PNG, not a GIF. That will improve the quality.

Use rounded rectangle tool (U). It has Anti-alias option.

Yes, I agree with Kirtan, use the Shape tool and you'll get a nice vector curve (paths palette).
