Actually the arm was never there to begin with look up uncle sam in google images.

maybe we tend to notice his "amuptation" more because uncle sam's blue jacket doesnt integrate well with a gray background.

goahead thats good... at least get better from your mistakes, even though his left arm was missing, there's plenty of ways to fix it, perhaps like making it fade into the background or simply just adding designs around him

Not gonna say , Eww , ahh , ohh , but gonna give a review.

Here is what you should do.
1: Cut uncle sam properly , for that try using the pen tool not the magic wand its not for good rendering.

2: You need a better background , try to stick to the original one.

here is what i think should be .
BUT STILL I HATE WHAT I HAVE DONE < :P

Hope you understand and try to make it better.
