1st off...Thanks for reading my post ...& 2ndly, I hope it makes sense...cause I'm really confused right now...

I'm designing a site in Photoshop which has a prominent (animated) logo on the upper left side of the page...w/ the right side being dedicated to (changing) images & copy that's activated w/ remote rollovers...

When I took the entire page (background layer, animated logo layers, button layers etc...all neatly sliced up) into Imageready, it became quite confusing and the (logo) animation got all screwed up as I was developing the rollovers...

I want to complete this site in GoLive, adding the html copy (in the remote rollovers & text links etc)...so, would it be easier (smarter) to complete the individual elements seperately in PS/IR & then bring everything together in GoLive (w/ smartobjects?)... versus attempting to complete the remote rollovers on the entire page (w/ the animated logo) in Imageready?...

Any sincere advice is greatly appreciated[/U][/B]...and step-by-step procedures...well, I'd pay for...

Obviously, I am fairly new to attempting to build websites w/ the Adobe software, but I have a decent amount of PS & Illustrator experience doing print design, logos, illustrations etc...and I'm hell w/ a pencil & paper...

THANK YOU!

Do you have anything posted onto the web yet? It is always easier to see a problem rather than have someone try to explain it.

From the sound of it I think you'd be better to switch to exporting direct to GoLive and missing out Illustrator altogether. Even using three pieces of software created by the same firm, there are always conflict issues. (ask anyone who has ever used more than 3 pieces of software created by Microsoft!).
