You make the banner image, then you 'file save as' and choose GIF as your format and save it.

basically if you want to make gif banner on Photoshop, there is a option in the starting where you selects for custom size for the stage or board...

there is a another attached software with photoshop is Imageready..this application is basically for banner design whether static banner and animated one......!!!!

First you open Photoshop then in the tool box select Image ready it is bottom of the tool box click it then Image ready will open
1: Go to Window menu select Animation
2: In the Animation Bar right side one arrow is having click it and choose New Frame
3: Change the position of object from the main window where the object is placed
4: Do this processes again an again how much you animate the object
5:Per Movement you need to Add New Frame
