I know i sound like a newbie, which i kind of am. i am sorry for posting in this section if i wasnt supposed too, i didnt really know where to post. but anyways,i was wondering if there is a way to add multiple links to different parts of a picture?like i have one big picture, but i want the user to be able to click different parts of it to go to different areas of the site. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

What you need is a client-side image map. Any good HTML manual will have a section on it. You use pixel boundary definitions to create "hot spots" on a picture then you can assign a link to each of these hot spots.

I dont know about Photoshop, but Paintshop pro, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Frontpage all have wizards or easy to use point and click image map creators.

If you want to do it html and need some guidance try htmlgoodies.com.

You prob can do a search as well and get basic instructions online for doing this in HTML.

Adobe Image Ready has the ability to do this. If you have purchased Adobe Photoshop you should have this as well. It did come with Version 7 that I use.
