How hard is it to make money from a website? How much traffic do you need to make around $500 a week from affiliate or what ever? What are the best type's or ways to make money from the net?

What do you mean? Do you want to make money from ads, affiliate programs? Or selling products?

Ah well that was a stupid question.. this is in the Affiliate programs cagetory. WOOPS. Well in that case, you need a ton, and each site differs; and depends on the affiliate programs you are in.

To be successful in affiliate website you must have the following at least:

- Great Content
- Use Preselling Strategy instead of Hard Selling
- Good Page Rank in Google and other main search engines

Also focus on using text links more than banners. Datafeeds if you know how to use them will earn you more money (typically.)

Also try to do research to see if the programs you promote are parasite-free so that you get all your hard earned commissions.

Also if you can learn about how to use datafeeds you will make much more than just adding banners and text links. There are 2 articles about datafeeds in the resource section on my site.

It is hard to answer this question as it depends on the amount of visitors you have to your site, how targeted they are, what you are selling, how big your site is, etc.
