Affiliate marketing can be very profitable when it is done right. As anyone who is getting started with AM it is quiet natural for them to look for shortcuts but there is no short-cuts to success. It takes all hard & smart work and great lot of learning to survive and to succeed in this business. Don't fall for hope sellers who sell that get-rich -quick guides . The information on affiliate marketing is freely available on the net. Read it, Learn it, Apply it. Also find a mentor who can help you to get succeed with affiliate marketing

I agree that it is hard work. I used to have days that would last 12 hrs.+ for several days in a row. Anyone that tells you it's easy...either is lying or doesn't remember how difficult it was starting out.

I think your success has a lot to do with your willingness to try new things too. Just because you have a beautiful website or blog, doesn't mean it will transfer over to sales. You've got to find the right topic and draw people in who are ready to spend money.

I think if you are just starting out....look for "lead" programs which pay you for a free sign-up/lead. These aren't always the huge money makers, but they are an easy way to get started because you're really only selling the user on registering on a website (that may actually be beneficial to them)

After you start getting a consistent flow of free signups, look for ways to cross-sell or up-sell them to a more traditional PPS program. That's what I did starting out and it worked. Hope it helps!

Your affiliate earnings deppends from your site content, if you have target to people who read books amazon will be best choice, you need to specify your users target, if theres nothing to specify then try our many programs and see by yourself which one will be most profitable

If you are interested in health affiliate program i would like to suggest you try hexpress health care affiliate network. The more niche and CJ is also best options.

I understand how you feel about Affiliate Marketing. It can be a daunting task to check out which programs are good. I was there too, but then I was introduced to an Affiliate Marketing School and my god what a difference. I have gotten to know alot about Affiliate Marketing and making money so any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me ok.

Yes, there is plenty of money to be made with affiliate marketing - if you know what you are doing, of course. There is a long article in Wikipedia that is very useful: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affiliate_marketing. It has plenty of practical information on the subject that you can use to your advantage.

Thats exactly what i do, i have blogs related to forex, i update them on a regular basis. I have a forex affiliate which pays me for my referrals from my blog.

Actually Affiliate Programs are like door to door sales.You can introduce your product into new prospects and after that you get commissions on the sales that you generate.

At the moment there are lots of affiliates out there which not at all make a sale or get a check.But there exist some who get checks every month, all year long. Regardless what sort of website you possess, you want to be one of those people.
There are several steps to building an effective affiliate income:
1. Identify a workable market niche. 2. Locate solid affiliate programs to offer that niche. 3. Build a site and newsletter with high-quality information tied to that niche. 4. Get your targeted visitors to the site and signed up for your newsletter. 5. Send your visitors with open and receptive minds to the affiliate sites you represent, ready to buy.

affiliate program has a good chance if managed correctly, but it needs a special strategy to find the buyers target that we want as buyers remain.

How profitable you can be as an affiliate comes down to how hard your willing to work at it and the information and resources that you have acces to. In the end, your success or failure is a direct result of your attitude towards the project

From most of the Affiliate programs that I have used I got pretty satisfying outcome. But still sites like cj, share sale, and linkshare are my favorites..

How profitable you can be as an affiliate comes down to how hard you willing to work at it and the in order and funds that you have admission to. In the end, your success or failure is a straight result of your approach towards the plan.
