Hey guys,

Who among you have had successes by using solo ads for promotion?

I purchased this service that lets me run ads for several ezines but i'm afraid i just burned out my $10.

Help?

I'm hovering on this one - I was checking some of the ezines circulations and they seemed pretty small. And so many of them! And are they populated by desperate buyers who would be swung -even by solo ads?
PIPS recommends a lot of spending on ezine advertising, but some of the offline and unusual ad sources seem to offer a better tradeoff even if they take more time and research, so I'm searching!

Yea only promoblem is most Ezines are marketing and not targetted at niches may want to look into teaming up with a webmaster and promoting in their newsletter.

You have to give yourself a chance. $10 is not going to do it. Pick three ezines. I found three different ones for under a hun total. I'll follow up with results.

Anyone knows a good health problem related ezine?

I think that Internet Marketing Ezines are saturated, so I prefer to target niches instead.

There seem to be a lot of niche product sites and forums rather than ezines, but Ive not looked hard, tho' one of my niches involves health. There are medical issues involved in offering products to long term sufferers.

In a solo ad in a health ezine, in my humble opinion, you'd have to be particuliarly careful what you were offering and how you could back up your claims.

I am in an affiliate membership site, in which the owner buy the product first, and review it, and he is sure that the product deliver.

The nest is that he write the sales letter and email for me! he is a copywriter, I think that will increase my chances a lot...

I know since a long time that desparate buyer is a good market, because they will buy your product, they need it.

You just need to promote an excellent product, and everyone is happy.

Does that make sense?

Instead of just looking for ezines, have you tried, say, submitting a weight loss article to a popular weight loss site as an exclusive? You can have them written by a under your name by a ghostwriter or someone like Need-An-Article.com - nope, Im not connected there, I do my own ;-)

Excellent Idea, I found some writers on another forum. I just said that I had a project, and I received 5 or 6 emails.

Literally, you find a suitable emag or mags in a suitable niche, say female weightlifters, write an article on some problem they want solving, say, add muscle mass daily without workouts, and offer it to ezine owner or owners for use in their publication, maybe for a certain time before you offer it to article directories.

Naturally it must be researched, interesting, have at least a few useful key wods stuffed in... at worst if they dont want it, you CAN offer it to the directories....

Yes, I agree to article marketing. This can be a sudden explosion to your sales in the long run.

When you already have at least 30-50 articles in the same niche created. You can combine it in a form of an ebook and give it to your subscribers, publishers and directories for viral marketing.

You can also combine it to make a newsletter/ezine or autoresponder messages for your subscribers to benefit on, or sell an ad space for it. There are lots of ideas. You pick your choice.
