I would recommend pushing ringtones and dating offers with myspace traffic...

I agree there are several angles to approach this and here is my $0.002

- create a profile with a hot chick and promote her. Get your friend count high! I created one just for poop n giggles to see what would happend and after several months she has over 65k friends! My last acct that I owned had over 100k friends. Maxbounty kicked me for supposed spam but it was actually heavy traffic from an owned acct and LARGE banners placed on the profile etc but thats for another thread :2guns:

I used to send out a bulletin every now and then with a funny joke with a link to a site at the very bottom of it. Easy to do, gets readers attention and can get a few clicks, not bad!

- there is plenty of room for advertising on myspace as long as your smart about it. I personally think myspace is nothing but the ultimate spam site on the planet and hate it and want nothing to do with it but whatever floats your boat! :1eye:

I dont do much with it anymore but I have read some success stories and it seems to be a worth looking into. It is def entertaining! With my current crop of sites I dont really want to target myspace users but if you have a site for that age group then its perfect.

good luck

Yea, ClickBank works on MySpace. Beware that any form of affiliate marketing is technically illegal on MySpace, though.

-Select you niche is the most important, study myspace website and audience is the most important and take time. select your friends is the first step, then choose the product, more number frineds can take more time and it is suitable to waste it to build affiliate marketing website or increase yours.
- try squidoo lens that more interested to build smaller niche and rank well in search engine.

i would say spend 80% of your time in research and find what is selling well.

find what there is a big market in....i.e. like the poker craze...unfortunatly now for people that think they can make a buck now that I mentioned it, well you can try but i feel this market is now a little flooded.

just find something that you think will be big in 6 months and continuously getting popular or going to be the next craze.

one of my friends set up a blog on how to make bacon soap (yes dont ask) and it gets thousands of hits each day.....no only is he doing well with affiliate programs (related to this niche) but he is doing even better with adsense which is not hard with that sort of traffic obviously - good for him.

These are just some ideas to get you goin.

Now go find that hungry market....thats the key here! happy hunting
