My thoughts turn once again to buying CPC traffic.
I look at the myriad of AdWords competitors and I see that a lot of them are a lot cheaper than AdWords, although I doubt anyone is as good at relevance as AdWords.
Does anyone have anything good (or bad) to say about any of these networks -- from an advertisers perspective?
I have a few pages with CPM's high enough that I think I could earn more with engaging in come creative arbitrage.

Correct...all the big PPC marketers I know are making their money PPCing on adwords. I've tried others, and they either have crap traffic, or you don't get enough volume to make it worth your time.
Google is almost always the best converting paid traffic for me.
MSN's traffic is good, but there's just too little of it.
Yahoo won't see another penny from me until they sort their act out.
AdBrite was useless to me, but I only did very limited testing.

Give ypn a try if you can get better prices then google. Most of them are really bad, but you should never rely on just google. Diversify your ads, and find out which ones are cheapest.
