Hi all,

I just joined up Comission Junction and would like to promote some services / products in my site. However, I am asked to fill up a form called W-8BEN but I am unsure of what that's for..

Is it compulsory for me to fill up and fax back this form to be able to start earning some affiliate income? What is the purpose of this form?

By the way, I am not a U.S citizen.

Any help / clarification will be appreciated. Thanks.

This form is for you since you´re not from the US. They need it for tax purposes. If you got any questions regarding this form, i suggest to ask your manager since they can be very helpful!

If you were a US citizen you'd have to do a W9. Its all because of american tax law.

We're canadian tho so we can get away without having to have our affiliates fill them out! :thumbup:
