Anyone here run a coupon/rebate/discount site that scours the web for discounts on products or services in a specific industry? A good example of this would be hotdlz.com or slickdeals.net. How the heck do people find the time to do this? I mean sure it's no big deal if you are home all day with nothing to do...

I used to run www.coupon.sc with a partner (he recently bought my share). It is wildly successful. It isn't that hard...especially since most of the coupons are user submitted.

And if the site has an easy admin panel, its a piece of cake to submit something.

Ah yes, I remember you talking about coupons.sc some time ago. How was it monetized though? Was all your income from YPN ads? See I'm talking more along the line of hotdlz.com where they list discounts/deals/rebates/coupons from merchants they have affiliate accounts with through linkshare or shareasale.
