...this is a topic im interested in so wouldnt really have a problem writing content and doing the seo for rankings, ranking for 'weight gain' seems like it would be pretty simple

im wondering more on the conversion, even if i do get quality visitors are they likely to convert into paying for a $40 guide?

plus, is there enough people potential in this market so once i finally get the traffic income could be 'sweet' or should i look to start elsewhere in my first affiliate marketing adventure? unk:

Your first sentence tells me it would be a good project for you to take on. The topic is an interest of yours, and the writing of content would be easy.

As for the market, I think the potential is there, just know you can't be in a hurry because it will take a little time to establish yourself in a market that already has some very large sites with big followings.

I would say give it a shot though.

Yeah, Blogs can work. Try other things too like PPC. I am doing a site on weight loss and it seems to be a profitable niche. Content writing for it is easy because I am interested in it, and after I am finished with this project, I'll make a muscle building site because that is what I am really interested in.

"test and measure then test again" - Brad Sugars

I too am in the process of writing a musscle gain e-book, having gained 72kg myself I find it is an easy topic, also being a professional weight lifter in various ways over 20 years helps too.

Next is the fat loss book, etc

hey psssst just between you and me...i have a secret. well sort of.

WEll I was in the process of doing a JV in this niche and you wont beleive the things I found. Its such a popular topic and they are such a hot market...bodybuilders spend lots of money on protein formulas and what not so if you spend the time putting together software or ebook in this niche you will be onto a winner. They seem to spend no second thoughts about whipping the old credit card out....which is different for some other niches.

ive done plenty or research so I tell you to do the same there are so many uncompetitive keywords that you can make use of its not funny. Im not going to give you anymore info becuase Ive just given alot out but you will want to research all possible keyword combination but you will need a good software for that.

Anything regarding nutrition/weight is a very thick market...there are already a ton of established companies out there and it will be difficult to compete with them. There is a lot of money in that niche sure, but a lot of competition as well.

All of this information is readily available for free on the hundreds of bodybuilding and weight training forums out there. Also, you'd better be one BIG dude if you're going to push this. I wouldn't take bulking advice from anyone who wasn't seriously MASSIVE.

Look elsewhere. as someone who has been butting heads directly with the likes of bodybuilding dot com, i can tell you that bodybuilding/fitness/muscle sites are TOUGH.
