I notice that alot of affiliate marketing sites have adsense on them but they still market their sites using adwords or other pay per click/paid traffic.

I read on some other forum that this is considered arbitrage and that their sites will be banned from adsense. On another forum I got the impression that as long as you got some unique content on your site you are still allowed to do this.

I was looking at some of the earners forum posters websites and I get the impression that many of them are heavily into arbitrage but that they get away with this due to the above mentioned reasons. Can anyone PM me back with some info on this topic as I am keen to get into the business but dont want to get banned from the start.

one example ( will not mention the sitename)

clicked on a earners forum members website and got to a front page that had basically a enter site here option and a bunch of google adsense adds on one site and 4 headers like make money, need money, easy money and free money each linking to a page with like only 10 google adsense adds without any other content...

is this allowed? And if the website entreprenour who owns this particular site is reading this...is it profitable?

sorry if this is obvious and I sound like a complete donkey for asking but I am new at this

Easy math. All google has to do is see if a page is making more in AdSense then it is spending in AdWords. When that happens they will shut down your account.

So the traffic has to come from someplace other then Google.

Arbitrage is to fickle for me, I have better luck with blog content.

Best of luck to you.

I have been playing to adsense arbitrage, and never closed any account.

I noticed a very strange thing, that adwords disabled my campaings by "bad keywords", didn't understand.

I'm reading this and I'm glad to say that it is not my site. The site that is in question in the first post is not a site that I know of, but what ever site it is, it seems to be breaking the Adsense TOS with having around 10 adsense ads on each page with no other content.

10 ads or 10 ad units? Big difference.

10 ads or 10 ad units, it's still breaking their TOS without having any content on the pages the ads are on.

Was it perhaps a parked domain?
