Sounds like another way to STEAL affiliate commissions from
the rightful referrer. I think any merchant that goes along with
these thieves ought to be BlackListed.
In the end attrition will win out. If an honest affiliate's
commissions are continually stolen. He / she will no longer
be able to afford promoting merchants or their sites. Then
how is the merchant going to get traffic? The thieves aren't
going to spend the money. They just want a free ride for as
long as it last.
IMO any merchant so short-sighted as to allow this and similar
programs to redirect the rightful commissions, is not ethical,
and very STUPID ! The net commissions are still the same to
the merchant, but instead of rewarding those who are helping
them, they are rewarding thieves who couldn't care less
whether the merchant is around in the future.
