I was encouraged when I logged into my Amazon account and found my first sale with them. Thought I would share with the hope that this will help others to keep working hard and not give up.
Yeah, Amazon's a bit of a tricky one to get good results with if your target audience aren't book buyers.
I've had my best success with Amazon on hubpages. In fact, I've pretty much stripped out Amazon across my sites... although still dabbling with some of the new, niftier tools.
Congratulations! I have sold a few used books and had many that didn't. So far it's been about break even. But yeah it's always nice to see "sold, ship now" in your email. Keep at it!
Nice to see you have had a sale, but just because you have had a sale doesn't mean others will. It depends on your tactics, how much work you put in, how much money you have to invest into your project, etc.
I am a bit confused here, are you selling products for Amazon ie someone buys it and you ship it, or are you displaying afilliate Amazon ads on your website and each sale generated by a click through on the ads from you're website you get paid for?
