With Google Insights for Search, you can compare search volume patterns across specific regions, categories, and time frames.

You may look at http://www.hotscripts.com or http://cgi.resourceindex.com for such products.

However just note that "free software" means also "no support" or just a forum to post questions. You may consider this.

Alternatively have a look at our YourAffiliates management software. While it isn't free, you could consider it as an alternative.

I was going to suggest the free version of Post Affiliate Pro too.
HOWEVER anything that's free is going to have some limitations.

And from an affiliate viewpoint, no serious affiliate would work with a merchant that was using free software because I'm afraid they would see it as a lack of commitment to the affiliate channel or think "if they can't afford to buy software then how do I know they can afford to pay me?"

Trust me, I know how affiliates think and they've all been cheated by merchants so they look for hints that merchants may not have much of a commitment to doing things right.

So you get what you put in. If you don't put much into the affiliate channel,
in all honesty you probably won't get much back out.
