hi everyone, let me just ask you what is your favorite affiliate network? or the one that makes you the most money? I can say I love Copeac the most and Pepperjam isn't far behind.

Commision Junction (cj.com) lists the average payout per 100 clicks in their listings. You can sort by best payout if you want.

I looked at pepperjam's front page and client portfolio and my guess is that CJ is broader... not that pepperjam looks amateurish. They look like I'll join em when I have my america-centric sites up later this year. Currently I don't even bother with CJ much, since the british businesses they have on their books are more often than not also on afw, a british network, and that network has loads other british sites, and presently i just don't sell for ANY non british sites.

But I will. So cheers for pepperjam, definitely one I'll join - appear to have people CJ don't. However I think the p.r. is a bit scary - all their employees dressed in black?

most networks have an EPC rating (earnings per click which will be either per click or per 100), this will indicate the programs earning potential. you need to review how you are planning to drive traffic to merchants, articles, blogs, paid search. once you know that then you can hone in on the niche where you think you can make a return and then find the merchants. this may mean you need to join several networks like CJ, PepperJam, Platform A, Share A Sale, Linkshare and more UK/European like Affiliate Window, Tradedoubler etc.

My suggestion would be to look at individual plans that you can really focus on and leverage, rather than spreading your efforts over a huge pool. My affiliate program offers substantial (and most importantly, recurring) payouts. Worth a look: http://www.editme.com/affiliateprogram

I guess this is a very broad question. Considering the different niches of affiliate marketing. For example a good paying affiliate program would be gambling or forex but I believe the bottomline and which I think is common to all is the fact that having a good website with content will be a good start to get the ball rolling. Although it might take a while longer to see the results.

CJ is really broader because they are older... Pepper is in the business for just a year i think.. Anyway pepperjam staffs are goths thats why their black..
