CPX Interactive:

CPX Interactive (formerly Buds Inc/Buds Media) has filled a niche in the online advertising world. It uses Yield Manager as their ad management solution which offers publishers a lot of control over which campaigns they display. It offers rates for banners and skyscrapers ($0.05 eCPM) for most campaigns, and then give you the option of showing low paying campaigns (normally under $0.03 CPM) or redirecting to a default network of your choice, which is a useful option. They have 60% payout percentage on their publisher accounts and a NET 30, $50 minimum payout by Check, Wire (only if you make $5,000 per month or more) or Paypal.

I have been a CPX Interactive publisher for 6 months. Even though I have sent more 1 million banner impression and pop up traffic to them, I have not received any payment yet when their pretty low eCPM. In addition, if your website has less than 30,000 unique impressions per month, they will be disabled your account without pay. When I first got an e-mail from CPX Interactive inviting me to join their network, I was surprised by the response time for all of my e-mails, usually less than 24 hours. But on my first support question I was quite disappointed, 3 days for a simple answer and guess what it was a support template. I asked them for a more detailed answer and I got the same template again. In other words the onsite support is terrible even though a personal representative is assigned to each account to walk you through any problems or questions you may come across.

Chitika:

Chitika generates revenue on a pay-per-click basis when your visitors click on the links in the Best Deals section, or the product itself. Revenue share is 60% currently. Note that Chitika does audit clicks to remove duplicate or other suspicious clicks. Some webmasters have reported the audit percentage to be quite low (10% or so) - others as high as 40-50%. The amount of clicks that are audited will be determined by your traffic quality for the most part. It makes payments 30 days after month end in US Dollars to the publisher’s PayPal account once the balance reaches $50.

I’ve been beta testing mini-malls for 2 months. The eCPC is in the $0.06 to $0.10 range generally. Take into consideration that I don’t have them running on every blog I own and have not spent much time optimizing them yet and you’ll see that they have some real potential. Compared with other contextual Ad network, I am a bit disappointing because of the following reasons: poor optimization, poor ad matching and low CTR.

Adversal:

Adversal is a pop under advertising network that I have used for more than 2 years. They used to pay $.80 per 1000 pop-unders then they took up their rates to $1.20. They pay 15 days after the end of the month with the minimum payout $20 through Paypal or CHECK. Adversal describes that they pay for RAW impressions. I compare with my webhosting stats and other ads network stats. They should count unique impression more instead of RAW impression. Also their system stats aren’t real time and update sometime between 12-4am EST but in my opinion I can deal with stats updating once a day.

Hooqy:

Hooqy is the contextual advertising network which automatically converts specific keywords on your website and display relative ads through text banner, in-text ads or pop under. You can earn money according to both Cost-Per-Impression, Cost-per-Click and Cost-per-Visit. They pay 30 days after the end of the month. Paypal or Check is an available payment option with the minimum payout $50.

I started using Hooqy 2 month ago. Click values have been reported to us as in the $0.05 to $0.40 range generally. The overall CPM for pop under is reported in $1.6 to $2.9. The stats for Hooqy are fairly accurate and are close the actual stats for me. Although they have different number of ads display when I refresh the page, ads relevancy seems to be a bit of a problem. It does not really match ads with content. If you use all of their ads format, it is easy to reach $50. Payment by Hooqy is quick, and I receive payments within first week of a month.

Adbrite:

Adbrite is the largest online marketplace. It offers webmasters the opportunity to add Text, banner ads with customizable layout, Active Interstitials – A high-paying full-screen ad on the third pageview of your site, shown only once per user per day. The minimum payout is $5 which is paid by CHECK with Net 60.

I have used Adbrite more than 2 years. You do not expect to earn too much in here. The CPC is around $0.03. The interstitial ads pay around $1.5 CPM. Although still a bit slower than average, there have been no reports of payment problems.
