Hi guys,

I was wondering if anybody could help me I live in the UK and have several affiliates on my websites. They send me a cheque to my home address, i was wondering what i have to do with regards to paying tax on this.

Do i have to set up a special bank account or fill in some forms or what any advice will be gratefully recieved.

Yup,

You do have to pay tax on it, because you are generating income.

There are some taxfree amounts you can make, as it is a hobby, but once you earn too much, you just have to pay for it :-(

I don't know the maximal amount you can earn taxfree in your country. Sorry.

You do have to pay income tax. However there is a tax-free allowance of around 4,000 pounds; if you earned less this year, you won't have to pay. Best thing to do would be to call your local tax office and ask.
