I can only get accepted to Rextopia.com and Affiliatrust.com. What do I have to do to get accepted at ost networks?

Show them your unique site with quality content..

Have unique content on your site and update it on a regular basis. Every program has it's own requirement so as earlier stated by chrishirst, also comply with all their requirements.

Affiliate program are looking for people that can demonstrate that they can direct viewers to their site, or can show that they have the potential to generate traffic through SEO or PPC know how.

Sometimes these affiliate programs differ in how they work from country to country. Did you know Paypal does not work at all if you are in Egypt, not that paypal is affiliate program but it's interesting.

Well there is several reasons networks turn people down. I know from experience. I turned about 8 applications down today. Do to fraud.

Here is a list of reasons I turn down affiliates:

Phone number not working.
No such address.
Ip goes to another region of the world.
Site is not registered to that affiliate.
Email being a free provider

Now I want to touch base on the free email provider. Yes we all use them, I have one, but when applying at a network that tells the network that you are indeed the owner of that site. This cuts down on whois look ups by the network.

Now with me saying this yes it is good to have a website. Now days it is very cheap to have a site. Don't apply without a site, it makes you look very unprofessional and unstable. Besides this how are you going to host things like banners and landing pages?

Before I approve an affiliate I Google every address to see if it is real.

You have to keep in mind that we have to protect the advertisers so we can continue to host their ads. In turn if we keep fraud down we get paid more, that means we can pay you more.
