Is it possible to receive instant verification through an affiliation tracking application?

Basically a visitor of my website clicks on a link and makes a purchase on their website I would like to receive instant notice. Is that possible?

I was thinking an affiliate tracking application might have such a feature otherwise maybe some sort of script or code might have to be implemented on their website to make this happen whenever a sale happens?

Any ideas?

I would expect that you will need the 3rd party site that your refferals are signing up on to notify you.

I dont think theres any way to track it otherwise.

You could track when someone clicks your link by sending it through a php redirector or similar.
