I'm a newbie, i have a products review wordpress blog and i joined Amazon Affiliate Marketing Program last week.

As a newbie, i don't know which kind of product on Amazon i should choose. But because there are many visitors on my blog asked me where can they buy the products, so i wonder if i can choose the products my blog reviewing and if next time visitors want to buy they can click the advertisement directly.

Here are my questions:
1. How long must i post a product advertisement on my blog if i've chosen one?

2. Is it allowed by Amazon I changed produsts regularly?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

1. As long as you want?

2. Yes.

3. Your not gonna make money like this so stop wasting your time. What you need to do is go to an authority website like Hubpages and Ezinearticles then write those reviews.

4. Your breaking the rules anyways. Wordpress doesn't allow you to have afifliate links or advertisements on your blogs. Part of the Amazon TOS states that if you're breaking another websites TOS you're breaking theirs also.

Hello Stone, I'm new as well.

I was considering Amazon in the beginning, but their commissions are low, and the 24-hour cookie thing is just not right.

I have placed Amazon ad links on my privately hosted WordPress blog. At the time I was getting about 600 unique visitors a day on the blog-- however Amazon barely noticed as related to stat reports.

I am a software developer-- so I have thought about adding an interface however at this time feel it is a waste of my time.

I think you can make money with amazon. You have a fashion blog? Think you have lots of options. What about a search interface-- for the sidebar?

Better idea is to review Relevant products on your blog and cloak links to amazon referring them to the product you are reviewing, this will increase your clicks and also their trust on your, Build newsletter list on your blog so you could send emails about new Deals and new Blog post so they buy again from you.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough, my wordpress blog is independent, but thanks anyway, your response is useful for guys using wordpress blog.

I suggest owning your own domain name if your gonna create reviews for amazon products. Also try to pick products you like and actually review them, the commissions are low on real products like amazon so you should try to review things you think will have a high sale rate and relatively high price (items people will likely find when they are already ready to buy work great, put yourself in your searchers mind).

I just started a free website and still on the process of or planning how I can monetize it. I did register last week in Amazon, I guess you can choose or change products that you think that will move fast.

Amazon is the best affiliate program there is. I have had sales that weren't reported on Commission Junction (I know this cause I had my friends make purchases). However, Amazon consistently credits purchases. I have more trust in Amazon's affiliate program than all the other ones.
As for your questions, you can post any Amazon links with your affiliate ID embedded and you can change them as often as you want.

You can advertise any product from amazon anywhere and change them as often or as much as you want, Amazon doesn't have many rules when it comes to that.

Is it worth being an affiliate? can you give me a series of advantages and dissadvatages?
