I had seen a thread about these and someone asking for help or a list, but the thread was locked so I couldn't reply.
Anyways, there are many pay-per-install places that pay you 10 cent to 25 cent and I get paid regularly from them, so I KNOW that they do pay.
I've found a site awhile back that I've been following http://ProtoProtoss.net/MakeMoney.html that keeps track of these programs, and it seems to be 100% accurate so far
The places listed allow you to BUNDLE your programs with their installation files, if you are a programmer, so if you indeed make some software... Give it as freeware and bundle with it and you can make a killing.
