Hmm, it seems the banner ad is dying...

Nonetheless, I've already arranged popups/layers on my new site, and now need to look into CPM banner ads. Which I can't find. Anywhere.

I know Google are offering this service, but I'd rather go for a smaller, more specialised media company, as Google would not accept my site because it's more of a network of sites.

Cheers

:: Hello ::

Most merchants are smart enough to have switched to a CPA (cost per aquisition) approach to media spend.. Gone are the days of bogus traffic numbers (Yeah I believe your traffic numbers.. sure yeah let me...see your web log files...(;-) )...

CPA is here to stay! Hurray.. (OK no more coffee...)

Thank you

I agree - CPA is the way forward. Although it's a shame the networks charge such a lot for advertisers (TradeDoubler charges around £3000 in setup fees).

If anybody comes across this thread who happens to know of a CPM banner ads company, please let me know!

I'll take a look at rightmedia.com; they're the sort of company I'd wish to partner with. I've found companies like fastclick.com to be very selective with their publishers in the past, but might give them a try.

Cheers

np ,

yeh fastclick look for specific publishers,

you shouldn't have any trouble being accepted by right media, if ur getting a decent ammount of traffic, they also have very good help and support.
