I am working on my affiliate program for my website, and was just wondering...
Say you sell 5 products, all different priced. Now, they also have supported/unsupported licenses -- different price again.
When the affiliate logs in, would it make sense to show something like:
Clicks: 25
Sales: 4
Earnings: $10.00
or, should it be something like:
Clicks: 25
Sales: 4 ($40.00)
Earnings: $10.00
Should I show what the people bought from their referral?
IE:
Sales history:
Product ABC - Supported - $5.00
Product 123 - Unsupported - $15.00
Product A21 - Supported - $15.00
Product XYZ - Supported - $5.00
I often have discounts on products as well, and this is mainly why I am not sure WHAT should be displayed. For example, assuming they get 10% and sell a product for $10.00, they earn $1. That product may be on discount for $7.50, in which case they only get 75 cents... without seeing the AMOUNT PAID for each product, they could very easily be confused on HOW they are earning the amount they are.
Any feedback? Hopefully this made sense... im feeling sick, so don't blame me if this doesn't make any sense. lol
