I'd appreciate any information or feedback about MyDollarShop.com. Seems simple, but they want $29.95/month for website with a small margin on their products.

They are definitely crooks....and the monthly fee that you will be charged is $39.95 (not $29.95). If you have a question the rude customer service will send you a canned response. If you ask too many questions they will deactivate your account. If you try to call the 800 number you will be disconnected, given wrong information, told you are "WRONG" and don't know what you read and insist that the supervisor is always "too Busy" to take your call.

Hello I'm a x owner of a MyDollarShop website in which I closed 10-2-07 due to the fact that after almost 16 thousand people entering my site in 7 months I recieved a total of $45.00 and change in which they donot want to pay me. The orders I did get from family members I had to walk through the ordering process because of the rejecting of the cards. The site has a problem of rejecting all creditcards and debit cards. I spoke to head quarters many times about this problem and to this day have done nothing about the problem. So due to the fact they would not help me about the problem I decided to close my site. I did much advertising with this site, businesscards, emailed flyers, and walking the streets handing out flyers. I'v had people come to continuesly telling me they couldn't order due to the rejection of cards. So If your are looking at this website for an online business. Please concider this note. If you decide to join MyDollarShop; once you join, you can try cancelling your membership. They will probably want to reduce your monthly fee to only $9.95 to keep you from cancelling. I did. I haven't made any money from the site that I set up through them but I have only been at it for about a month.
It does come with a very good program for optimizing you site for search engines and many informative ebooks on internet marketing. I'm going to try
email marketing with this site cause I've found that it is somewhat hard to
get a high ranking for my site through search engines, unless you want to pay.
One suggestion I'd give is to not try to fully understand the WebCEO program. The MyDollarShop site will only let you add Meta Tags and a
decription of your site. You can't add all the other tags that the WebCEO
program will do. You'll understand if you happen to join and open your own store. The learning experience, for me has so far been worth the $9.95 a
month; if you can afford that.
