I thought I would start a running commentary on my membership with the world famous “we have 150000 affiliate members” CilxGaloure Company that I have just signed up with.
Why did I choose CilxGaloure? Well they where a phone call away and I figured that was a good thing. Checked the internet for promotional companies (not real well) and found CilxGaloure. Yeah I know, acted like a newbie....
I have a website that I spent so much time on designing that I was just to dam tired to market it myself. I not sure yet, but I think I have fumbled the ball here. And feel like I losing the game. But it’s only been 7 days so far, so theirs a way to go. And I am hoping that I may still be able to get a win?
So far the experience was great up and till I paid $2500 + for the “CORPORATE PLATINUM” packages. That’s the package with all the ticks on the right side of their website .clixgalore.com.au/promotions.aspx
I'll try and make this short as I am not in the happiest mood. And here is why?
Q/ I wanted to know if CilxGaloure could pay any affiliate around the world. Personally I figured their must be some countries banned.
And I wanted to know which ones so I could remove them from my database.
A/ No Sir, we are able to pay anyone anywhere.
hmmm I thought that was great but was not convinced. So I pushed the question until they had their accounts department on the phone to me.
”Beware they BITE”
Their Accounts Manager was then on the line to me (not a pleasant experience at all). With a rough condescending rude manner I received
the following reply.
"No we DON'T PAY commissions to all parts of the world. Do you know of any company that DOE'S. The countries we do pay are the same as paypal only. I am a busy man is there any thing else?"
Q/ OK, could you give me a list of the ones you do? (After all I am going to be CORPORATE PLATINUM member)
A/ JUST GO to the paypal website and get the list from there.
Q/ So you don’t have a ready list to hand out to clients?
A/ No we don’t, it will only take you a few minutes to find and work it out yourself.
Nice I thought, what the “Hell” was I thinking and why did I go ahead and join anyway. Well I only have myself to blame and have been kicking myself ever since. I had already made changes to my website to suite their system and figured it was too much work. I know should have kept a copy right. Another newbie error. Getting quite a good lesson now, one I could do with out.
Lots more to tell, so stay tuned to this post. I can tell you that at this time there is no real good news for me.
For a laugh try their -- “24hr Telephone / Email Enquiry Support Line” -- after hours in your country. Go to - do not pass - go directly to - answering machine… Do things get any better?
Next time, customer service and how good their affiliates really are so far?
