Hi. I own a gardening website which has a directory that I want to grow. The site itself does well in terms of traffic so there is value in being listed in the directory. The directory runs with yearly subscription amounts and I am wanting to improve its' visibility. I am considering running an affiliate program that would pay a buck per sign-up or so and am looking for suggestions on where to go or how to run it. I don't want to have to lay out hundreds of dollars to get one going and it seems all the big names are truly expensive. Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe you could take a look at some of the most popularly used affiliate software listed at http://www.affiliateseeking.com/affi...oftware/1.html

Personally, if you want a cheap solution then you will have to host the software yourself and look after and get all the affiliates yourself. There are 2 or 3 softwares listed in the links that you can host and manage yourself and they are the cheapest.

With offer something like this you are likely to get a little bit of fraud happening which you will have to detect. I guess going with something like shareasale or a managed affiliate solution will help to eliminate this as they will really have to handle it. Well I would imagin anyway.

If that's not what you are looking for then maybe you can set up a CPA campaign with some CPA affiliate networks or something.
