I'm currently sending out emails with ASP Mailer.

Is there a way I can attach an HTML document (complete with images, style formatting, etc) to it?

I wrote a bulk email program in ASP (I love this language). I want to incorporate the same program to send out a monthly newsletter that is formatted in HTML.

BTW, should there be a !DOCTYPE in the HTML document I want to attach?

For mailing as an attachment you should treat it as you would any other page, just ensure that ANY images you reference in the HTML page are absolute and javascript & CSS are in the page or absolute referenced.
Now if you want to send it embedded, to be read in the mail client, that is a whole different ballgame.

so which is it embedded (read in client) or attached (sent as a separate document) and what component are you using? because there are a few called ASPMailer
